LED's in the gauges... quick question.
 

Hey guys, i know it's been done so many times before, but i had a little trouble finding out exactly what i need..

I think i'll be replacing my lights in my gauges soon, with colored ones.. But, what im wondering is, how many colored ones do i need? I dont want to put colored ones behind the stuff thats already colored, i'll just put some bright white ones behind those..
Im thinking i heard it was 5 before, and there are 4 more for colored stuff, but im not sure..
It's a V6 gauge btw, im just posting here since i figured theres a lot of helpful guys on here..

oh, and has anyone possibly seen some UV or blacklight gauges? I'm not sure if i would like it or not.. I was thinking about a blue, then decided to just look at some purple ones to match the car out of curiousity.. then i came across some that are kinda in-between.. some UV ones. I'm just not sure if they'll be bright enough.

5 194 bulbs....white is the BEST choice for Camaros as far as leds because it yields the least amount of hot spots, and sometimes none at all....Send a PM to Brian2006, he can help you out with anything you need to know about LEDS...very knowledgeable and nice guy...

I just put the leds in the camera adds some to the effect though.
