Any good custom shops in Southern CA area? I would probably screw this one up...any high end custom shops thay do TTop conversions that look good and not like $=#t! Put too much money into this beast.

i done 2 t-top conversions and each only took me a day. dont see how it would take you a week. i had one customer come at like noon and i was done before dark. all labor by myself only. customer just watched. and thats including a trip to town to get extra blades. i'm guessing 3-6 hours it took me.

I still have some pictures from when I did mine on my old 99 Z28.
Taping off the roof and the first cut:
Roof skin gone:
Removing the side beams:
Cutting, bending, shaping the corners:
Test fitting the weatherstripping / center bar / roof panels:
Doing some body work:
The end results:
The paint and body work was not great, I admit. It was done during a long holiday weekend from work and I just wanted to get it done. I had planned on refinishing it later, but wound up selling it. Hope this helps!
