Nice job and +1 on the new carpet...

The steam cleaning will help a lot though... just make sure you take your time with it and keep working and the stains will come out... I had around a 5yr old dried egg stain in mine carpet (don't ask) and just steam cleaned the other day and with some work and some abrasive rubbing, it came out and looks like new...

If he does a conversion, I'd love to have all the info about it because I'm considering converting mine in a year or two.

Or maybe just buy a 5th gen haven't decided...

Yeah eventually I'll be getting an SS. But the way my finances are right now that will probably be later than sooner. However when I do upgrade to an SS I'll be keeping this one. I'd be nice to have another F-Bod as a DD (V6 or not) and I've just had too much time in money into this car (even before the conversion) to get rid of it.

Looks AMAZING! I'm still working on growing the necessary pair that it'll take for me to do this... lol I REALLY want to, though!

It's actually not that hard to do, it's just time consuming. The only tools you really need are some hammers, a dremel with reinforced cutoff wheels, a saws all, and a grinder. But yeah, that "pair" you speak of are necessary. I was pretty nervous when I cut out the bars over the two doors. But the excitement of finally having T-Tops overrode the nervousness.

as cool as the conversion is, having T-tops was number 2 on my list behind my car being a T/A and the color black was a close 3rd
