Default Fresh Detail: 2006 Monte Carlo SS

I know its the red-headed step child of the LSx family....but the MC needed some lovin'. I took the time today and did the whole car, top to bottom. Comments and criticisms are welcome.

Meguiar's Gold Class Car Wash
Meguiar's Clay Bar
Meguiar's Gold Class Wax
Meguiar's #26 Sealant
Hot Shine Tire dressing
Mothers Mag/Aluminum Wheel Polish (on tips too!)

De-badge-ed the car as well.

Onto the pics:

Hope you guys enjoyed something different.

Looks great! However, sealants don't bond to wax. If you want to do both, you must first apply the sealant, then the wax. A sealant needs a clean surface of paint to bond with, as it will not bond to wax. So, your sealant is basically doing nothing on there, if it adhered at all. Next time around, reverse the steps and you'll see a lot longer protection and shine (being that a sealant provides the base for reflection and wax adds the depth on top).
