Fuel rail Cover's

Are the Camaro letters that some people are putting on fuel rail covers the same font and size as the front camaro grille letter's?

What the easiest way to fill in the corevette letter? (bondo)

What type of paint?

Thanks.. I thought i could live with them saying corvette, but that is becoming short lived.. :usa:

I used Plastic Weld Epoxy to fill my FRCs. I also used high-temp engine paint, but I think regualar paint may work.

where did you get the epoxy? Any problems with the heat?

I filled mine with JB Weld for three reasons. It's VERY easy to sand when dry, it dries very hard and is well adaptive to heat, and it's the only thing I had. Worked very well after sanded with 400 grit. Then I painted them with red engine paint, put on the decals, and finished it off with some high-temp clear paint. They look awesome. The lettering on mine are a little bigger than the ones for the grill. They are 13" long. I got mine from Brent. Tell him what you need and he'll be glad to make it for you!

I got the plastic weld epoxy at my local Kragen, I ended up using 3 tubes of it (it's the kind in the 2 part tubes). As far as heat goes, I don't think its so hot that high-temp paint is neccessary, I just used it out of personal preference.

The "CAMARO" on my FRCs were painted on by myself. Messed up on the clear coat as it orange peeled. I'll probably sand it smooth and try again later though. Good luck with yours
