Default Check out my new exhaust tips... not too common

My wife says i'm a nerd to get excited over something like tips, but i thought the rest of you nerds out there would want to see some that aren't so common.

They're just bolted on now, going to weld them on when the new exhaust system arrives. I will probably have them sitting a little farther fwd when it's all finished.

The muffler shop guy thought they looked best sticking out flush with farthest part of the bumper. He said he would have to weld in some extensions. The worst part is he wasn't kidding!

Eibach pros and Koni 4/4's are going on in a few days.....

That's exactly the look i was going for. I just couldn't justify $180 plus S&H for tips!

These are actually the same diminsions as their 6"x3" power ovals. But these are actually deeper than the mechams. Hides the inlet a little better.

I wanted something to fill the t/a's openings in the bumper better than the usual round or squared oval tips.

Guess by your wife's ideals that makes me a nerd too

And I like the tips but I disagree with the guy that told you to leave 'em there; I'd agree with you and say pull'em in a bit

You have to play around with them. I'd really recommend band clamps so you can get them just right. The valance helps hide the clamps. If you tuck them too far in you kinda lose them.

Like a few others said, they remind me of the Mecham tips....that was my first thought when I saw them. These seem just a little bit different though; I think they actually look better than the Mecham tips I've seen in the past....

They really fill out the bumper nicely. Any chance you could hook us up with a link where we could buy them?
