Show off FRC's with which STB? Which STB shows off the FRC's the best? I did a search but not much with pictures of both together Please post pics if you can |
Re: Show off FRC's with which STB? The Hotchkis bar is my favorite.. bends back out of the way and gives a good place to ancor things like throttle cables and fule lines (too keep them from rubbing the FRC's) an example: http://www.z069.us/00/Engine_bay/engine2.JPG |
Re: Show off FRC's with which STB? True, Hotchkis looks great as shown by Captain Bling above, ... But I wouldn't recommend the SLP simply because it's a bit too low & will rub on the FRC's when mounted. (Been there, tried that, ...) I now have the BMR & it gives about 1/4"-1/2" clearance under it away from the FRC's. Good Luck! |

Ok I have one question to ask? Is a STB just a big pain in the ass for when you need to turn a wrench in the engine bay or does it actually provide some enhancement to the car besides looks? |

Well it certainly can't hurt. Not to mention it looks cool. The only thing I can say is that when I installed mine, I had no suspension mods whatsoever and it seemed to improve turn-in. It seemed like I could turn instantaneously, as opposed to before the brace when there was a very slight delay between when i turned the wheel and the car reacted. Could all be psychological. I don't really care truthfully. |
