Default FLT 4l60e in the 9's with Video/Pic's

The FLT crew and myself went out to Byron Dragway this weekend and it was a good trip. I took some pic's of another one of our customers C5 vet's running low 9's and also a video. Here are a few pictures of the car.

Here is some video to back it up.

This is a different car from the one posted above that was posted in the 9 second section.

Posting info for DNB's runs for him.

Mods-

The 9.94 is from Carolina Dragway as is the attached video and the 9.93 is from Darlington Dragway, both of which are in South Carolina. My car is a 2000 C5 coupe with a 93 octane N/A 427 and FLT A4 transmission. It is a weekly driver and has the basic mods such as DTE rear, Yank TC, ARH headers, and lots of tuning which is done by myself.

Thank you. The guy in the tower is a riot! Some of the stuff he says you have to wonder how the hell he comes off with this stuff. Ron really keeps the action going and in the down time he usually has the crowd and racers ROTF. Vince

Default FLT60E Goes 9.88@140.86 in a Truck - With Video and Dyno Results

Here is a post from another thread from Black X. https://ls1tech.com/forums/automatic-transmission/1000382-flt60e-goes-9-88-140-86-truck-video-dyno-results.html Figured it would add to this official 9 second FLT 4L60E thread. Vince

Yes I would have to agree that James car is a truly bad *** street car. I think they need to work on the suspension a bit and that car should go into the 8's.

Ron is a riot. One of the main attractions for me when I get a chance to head to Byron. Larry you need to get back out and get me a video! I would like to have your car added to this list. You and I know it can do it now lets get it done! Vince

I'll have to look for the video. After talking to you yesterday at the shop being sick and out in the cold is probably not the best idea. I guess your sick like that! I know your car has a 9 in it just don't put your self in the hospital over it! Tell Tom "DR Vinnie" says you need a couple days off to get better so you can go racing. I'm sure he will understand!

Nice job guys!
Not that we need anymore proof on the durability of a FLT trans, But hell.. it sure is fun watching the proof!
I bet some competitors are scratching their heads wondering how you guys do it.
I say " Just because others have the tools doesn't mean they have the talent!"
You guys take trans building and product advancement to a new level.

Keep up the great work,
Derek

Thanks Derek. I like the video's to show a true testament of what we build here. Some companies claim to do what we do but I rarely see the proof.

I could not have said it better myself. I personally would rather be a leader than a follower!

Default FLT trans

Here is video of mine from late last year. I am at 10.teens with my Level 5
4L60E from FLT. I am running a PY3400, with a little looser stall and a better 60' I will be high 9's this spring. Not bad for FULL weight and a D1SC making 9#'s.

Sorry for the cropped and chopped video, my camera guy sucks!
