was cruising the free way just now.... and gave the car gas (about 60) and did nothing but rev up to around 4500 rpms and catch then took off then bounced off rev limiter and did not shift... let off gas hopin it would but rpms dropped like i put it in nuetral... nd when i gave it gas did same thing... dropped the car from drive to 3rd and felt nothing... even from a dead stop only felt 2 shifts and car wouldnt go no than 70ish help i think its gone!!! btw i just put a 3200 stall in on tuesday.

it all depends on the warranty they gave you. 3-4 clutches are the weak link any reputable shop would have upgraded it. Good luck

well all i had them do was replace the stock converter with a stall....

If thats all you had them do then they would not be responsible for anything beyond the installation itself

If all they did was install a converter then I highly doubt they checked the 3-4 clutches. Not sure if I agree with the reputable shop comment. I'm sure they did just what they were authorized to do. Vince

Didnt see the comment about only having the stall converter replaced. Obviously they did not replace them.

As mentioned above they are not liable for something they did not touch. If they do trans work then maybe they can repair it for you. I personally do not think they will do it for free if that is what you are asking. Feel free to give us a call if you are looking to replace this trans. Vince

Did you get a tranny cooler to go with that stall? And I agree with 3-4 clutch idea.

no cooler yet but was ordered.....but ive only had the stall in 5 days and have not ran it that hard....
