How many RPM's are yall shifting at??

Right now i have my rev limited set to 6500 Rpms and it shifts around 6200-6400 rpms..Completely stock motor full bolt ons.

Should i kick it back a notch?

Whats everyone else doing on stock motor?

my tuner has mine at 6200 shift and 6400 limiter....

nice.

With stock springs, its not really a good idea to rev over 6200. I shift at 6300 with a limiter of 6500 with LS6 springs.

Stock bottom end 7200.

JonCR96Z Feb 4, 2009 01:18 PM

6200 rpm stock internals.

nahasapeemapetalon Feb 4, 2009 05:36 PM

6800 stock bottom end
did 6950 a few times

Rod bolts are weak link. Depending on the year car it can vary from a recommended 6500-6800 rpm limit i believe.

7000 w/ stock bottom end and a blower. Going on seven years...
