Default 1,000 RWHP on spray...4L80E

Whats the best TC with 3.42 gears for roll races only? 50mph punch to 180mph.
Dual stage 300 shot (150/150).

Thanks.

Depends on the engine and cam you are using. I have been using Coan converters, but other sponsor on this site have good products.

I went with a 9.5" Vigilante with a 5-disc lockup on my 80E. Though I won't ever test its limits - they told me it was proven to 1600HP. The new mill with a modest shot or 2 shouldn't exceed 1100rwt. I just didn't want to ever worry about it again.

Here is a link to our new 4L80 Multi - I think it is just what you are looking for. I can make it in either the 245MM or 258MM diameter so we can meet any goal for stall requirements. Please give me a call at the shop and we can go over all the options for you.
