Converter won't lock!
 

My buddy has a 2000 Camaro Z28 with full boltons and an Edge 3200 stall. The converter will only lock every now and then, usually the first time you take it out and get it up to speed. Once you slow back down and get back up to speed it won't lock again! It did this before we put the stall in as well but with the stall you can really tell. I tried putting a stock tune in it to see if it has someting to do with the tuning but it doesn't make a difference.

ANY IDEAS?

Have you tried maxing out or turning off the missfire tables?

No, not yet he's comin over a little later and we'll try it.

That helped on mine. Mine wouldn't lockup well even full bolt-on until my tuner fixed it in the tune. Something along the lines the smaller lighter converters will make the CPU think it's misfiring more or something?

Also had to do it when I had the cam installed. It wouldn't lockup until I was crusing for about 5 minutes on the highway. Misfire tables eliminated, locks up like a champ.
