Default 4L60 3rd & 4th clutches are gone,price?

The clutches in 3rd and 4th are gone, anyone know what a reasonable price is to fix it?

has happened to me like 4 times lol, its gonna be like 1k upwards depending on who will fix it and what do you plan on installing...

you should probably just get a performabuilt and save the trouble of trying to repair the tranny... if i had the cash i would do it in a heartbeat

just took out my 3-4 clutchs myself only 800 miles on it, think ts 4l80 time

Just get a performabuilt lvII and never deal with it again or even another stocker for around $300 used. Zpak clutches for 3-4 are about $120 if you're going to try to do it yourself. Cool lights on the T/A, never seen them before.

what kind of rebuild did you do the last two times? no upgraded 3-4 clutch pack?
were you doing WOT runs, shifting into overdrive or something?

i think i spent like over $2k on my rebuild(up) from a local shop that knows their 700r/4l60 stuff. i should have just gone with a sponsor built unit - if mine goes again, i won't bother with a local rebuild. however (knock on wood), its held up for 30k miles of abuse which includes a 3600 stall and 150 shot of nitrous (not on DRs though).
