odd noise from trans area under firm breaking?

odd noise from trans area under firm breaking? Kind of sounds like "shhhhhhhh". Its only under firm breaking, not at all during regular breaking.
Also when I hit a bump at just the right speeds It feels like the tranny mount is broken and letting the trans hit the floor, I did crawl under and inspect to see if it was the mount and it was fine.
I have tsp duals and I noticed that the x-pipe touches the d/s sheild. I think that's what it is at least, thin metal plate that bolts on both sides of the d/s tunnel.
Any ideas from anyone? Thanks.
