Default t-56 to auto conversion where to find reuired parts and would my cam work

Strongly comsidering converting to an auto. Performabuilt level 2 or 3. I need a new t-56 but am thinking in the long run i will be happier with an auto. I have a heads, cam, exhaust combo. the cam is a 228/232 112+2 lsa with
.598/.600 lift. Will the stock driveshaft work with thisconversion? And where can i find all the required parts crossmember, pedals, a4 harness, prefer stock shifter, cousnsle, or any other parts i have left out i would like to get them all at one place if possible. I have HP tunes and a dyno shop that would take care of the re-tune. Thanks

Thats what I'm doing swaping my M6 to an A4 with local board member, that way If missed a part I can just go back to his car and get it, and the same goes for him.... You'll be surprise how many people were willing to do the trade with me... you should give it a try first, you could even get a trade for a fully built A4 and a good quality verter.

Well these things work best planned ahead .I planned mine well ahead like over the winter months when car was put away.
You have to decide if you are going 4l60, 4l80 or turbo 400./ Turbo 400 is cheapest way. I went 4l80.
I bought lockar dipstick..bought wrong one..24 inch by accident you need 36 inch one for the 4l80 swap. I bought flexplate from speed inc..I bought yank 4l80e compatible converter. Got bmr crossmember since was going to 4l80 it dont have provision for torque arm on back.
I got pedals locally from guy on local board that was doing auto swap into his s10 truck. Got shifter from him as well. shifter cable and shifter bracket. Used b and m shift arm, tweaked it a bit. Can get all my gears..
Bought top console off ebay new..bottom console is same.
Used stock shifter mostly for stock look.
Have hptuners to control the 4l80. Got tranny cooler cylindrical one dual pass put it behind air dam . Seems to work ok. no trans cooler in radiator.
Putting 4l80 is easy you cut off ears, clearance for the big plug in back. Use 90 degree fittings for the trans lines. but make sure to modify back one to go in farther like stock back 4l80 fitting.

No big pounding anywhere expect for that big plug. and that also takes cutting.

Oh yeah you need like lsx tune harness to go from t56 to the 4l80.
You can get 4l60 harness and convert over with 4l80 conversion to the 4l60.

Driveshaft is same for 4l80 as for t56 or 4l60. You need turbo 400 type yoke on the 4l80. As for cam well harder to have wild cam with auto but might be doable with good tuning.
