Default transbrake clutch question

What clutches is everyone using with a transbraked th350 that sees street use?

The clutch plates aren't particularly important with the transbrake. It's setting the transmission up for the brake is where attention to detail comes to play.

I'm sure stock replacement clutches wouldnt like the abuse dealt out from a brake. Of couse attention to detail would be required as with any high performance part.

If you're sure, then don't use them. There are plenty of other parts in that transmission that I would address when using a transbrake, other than the clutches.

Stay away from raybestos. Use borg warner waffle or grooved frictions. Machine the direct drum piston and put 6 frictions in the direct.

Cool, anything specal for the low/reverse? Those are the two that engage when the brake is engaged correct?
