what tranny to run behind a 500hp LY6 i am putting an LY6 in a 79C10. I just did a cam and spring swap in the motor, hope to make around 500hp. I had planned to put a stock 4L80E tranny behind it. and lately im having trouble finding one with less than a 100,000 miles on it. my question is, should i wait to find a stock 4L80E with less than 50,000 or spend a few more dollars and get say a built 4L60E from one of the vendors on here, im trying to get the best bang for my buck.
