Default People with 400's running a blanket.

I have pretty much finished building my th400 and had a question. I'm running a trans brake so I ordered a blanket to be safe but wanted to know if I could install the blanket after a few miles of street driving to check for leaks. I mainly just wanted to know if there's enough room or how hard it is to put the blanket on once the trans is in the car.

You should be able to work the blanket around the trans, possibly removing the crossmember and lowering the tail. You are doing the right thing by checking first. Altho, I like the CSR Sheild as it is way lighter and cooler on the trans. The price is the bitch.
