I have a 98 Formula pushing around 420 at the engine w/o cam or heads. I am running 3.90's in the rear and like to visit the strip a few times a year and do a little playing around on the street! I'm running 12.5's right now with fairly crappy 60ft times of around 2.0-2.1 with drag radials.

I'm looking to upgrade my stock stall for something higher but not too extreme that it would kill my everyday driving but still get me a great hole shot on the street and the strip.

I have done a little shopping but I dont really know where to look for a good quality converter that isnt a B&M or something like that.

Any suggestions on where to pick up a good one at and possibly what stall to go for?

I think the consensus on this board is the yank ss3600. Hits hard and very drivable. I would prolly go 4000 though and here come 11's.

4000 as said before..get better tires and your 60fts will drop..

A Circle D +4C will wake that thing up and still maintain excellent street manners. You should see 11.70-11.80 pretty easy.
