Default 4l60e Exssive shifting at 45 mph OD maybe?

2002 5.3 Silverado with 135,000 miles, problem just started when under light load usually while going up hill. Feels like it shifts in and out of OD over and over between 43- 50mph under 1500 rpms the problem dose not start until the engine temp is at normal. All other shifts feel normal but have always been hard shifts, wot feels fine, no slipping, no hesitations and cruising 50+ no problems. Fluid is a little old but not dark and level is fine.

Any advice before I take it to a trans shop? Thank you

I had this happen in my bird for a long time, it finally threw a tps code. That solved it. Might be the issue with yours.

I was just about to post a thread about this, but mine is in a built trans. It's doing the same damn thing. Someone throw up the fix here, I'm willing to try anything, it's ruining the 'fun' factor of the car.

looks like you need the expensive reamer to use the 77754-04K kit and do I need both kits if I am only having trouble with OD lock up?

most transmission shops will ream it out for a small fee. You could buy the valves from them too.
