Summer is approaching fast and I would like to get this installed soon. I would like some feedback on these units from those who have them installed (since it is a newer product). I would need the #274501 (1997-Current 4L80E models), but info on either one would be great.

I've talked to some other builders in the industry and they say it works OK.

I personally prefer to retain automatic features with the 4L80E when it is possible to use the stock PCM or even an aftermarket controller.
