Default Just swapped from m6 to 4l60e trans too high in car.

Hey I was wondering if anyone has had this problem. I got an auto crossmember. Everything bolted in nice but the exhaust is banging against the floor now. It is easily sitting an inch higher now. Just wondering if there are supposed to be spacers or something. I'm gonna have to space it down. Anyone know how much space is supposed to be between the crossmember and trans is it poss there is a low trans mount?? Or is it possilble convertables use a different crossmember ?

So only the exhaust is actually sitting higher? Did you reuse your M6 hanger bracket? The auto one is different, it hangs the y-pipe lower.

The whole trans is higher. The engine is sitting higher at the back. I did reuse the hanger but had to re drill it. My Trans mount is about 2.5" thick. Is this about normal? Anyway I just spaced it down 3/4" using some square tubing and longer bolts, it's just weird.
