Will My 4l60e Last With These Things? Or Do I Get It Rebuilt? I have a 2002 WS6 with Full exhaust and a lid on the way. Well, I think its time for a Converter in my car and I want a Yank 3600 or a FTI in the same range. The things I was thinking I would need for my 4l60e to last is: 24k B&M Cooler, TCI Red Eagle Bands, and maybe a Deeper pan.Would there be anything else I needed?
Should I do that or just get my Transmission rebuild and put the converter in there?
Also I plan to make my car a Head and Cam set-up with a VRX4 (228/230) Probably next year. This car is a street car that I just want to rarely race at the track.

If you've been mean to it you might as well as it will be out anyway.The other way to look at it is it's a 8 yr old and will have wear so why not.No use having to go through removal later on.
