Default Bone stock DD with a 3600 stall and built 4L60E.....

Well after going against my better judgement and buying a used yank 3600converter (was an early version) I once again proved to myself, never never ever install a used converter without having it cut and flushed.

So after a short drive and the converter trashing my trans, I found myself meeting the fine folks at Circle D. They are a class act! They have to be some of the nicest people in the business! I know there are several companies around that have great reputations, I just picked these guys after being recomended by several friends. And I am very pleased with the outcome. I went ahead and went with their highest level build and their 3600 converter anticipating heads and cam and bolt on coming soon. I have a 3:42 gear, nitto drag radials and the motor is bone stock and it is a riot to drive! It is so quiet, retains great fuel mileage and has already hurt many peoples feelings (while in mexico).

As soon as I get time I will take it to the track to see what a bone stock 98 Z can do with a touch of gear and converter.

Should run pretty good w/ just those few things done.My 02 SS a4 w/the stock CME muffler is still quiet w/ headers & off-road y-pipe so my car fools a lot of people running 11.88@113.

I just dropped a lot of money on a Circle D converter and a built 4l80e from them as well, I agree with you on their customer service, Glen is a very nice guy and so is the rest of his staff. I will recommend them to anyone asking for a transmission and a converter from now on.
good luck with your setup man.
