i was driving the other day, playing around, i nailed it from almost a stop. it spunt through first, when it shifted to second it was like it was in nuetral, the motor jus reved up, i let off and stopped the car. put it in reverse, no reverse, put it in drive, it goes but it doesn't shift to the next gear till i let off the gas, then it will shift, otherwize it will jus tack out and never shift, PLEASE HELP

Sounds like a busted sunshell. Its going 1st to 3rd. No 2nd or 4th or reverse.

would you guys rebuild it or or jus change the sunshell for now???

Definitly go through the trans while its out.

if it is a sun shell you will have to tear the tranny about 90% apart so it would not make sence to just replace the sun shell unless the tranny had just been rebuilt.
