Default overdrive working intermittently 4l80 transmission

I did a burnout in my car when i drove away i had no overdrive. I pulled over turn the car off started it back up right away and the overdrive works fine any ideas. It's a computer controled toddler transmission.

Are you sure it is overdrive that is causing the problem, or could it be converter lockup?

it could be converter lockup now that you mention it because it wasent locking in 3rd either and it usually does, but it made no difference in rpm if i shifted to 3rd or left it in forth

I just added a second cooling fan and it has pulled my voltage down to 12.8-13.2 from around 14. is it possible the trans is not seeing enough voltage to activate the lockup solinoid?
