torque converter bolts?

Default torque converter bolts?

got the trans (4l60) about 4" away for the engine trying to figure out where and how to get to the torque converter bolts

Take the starter off, access them there.

use a long ext reach from in front of the moter

lol, actually you dont even need to separate the trans to get the bolts loose, just take the starter off and rotate the engine until you get all of them out (3 i think, its been a while)

Yea the bolts are on the side of the flywheel facing the engine. Think, the bolts are screwing into the converter, connecting it to the flywheel

^^What these guys said. Depending on the year, these bolts will either be 8mm allen or torx headed I believe.

One of the most annoying screw-ups during my build was rounding one of these bolts off. Had to take an angle cutter down the center of the bolt, insert a screwdriver in this indention, rotate the screwdriver via vice-grips, then finally separate the trans from the motor. Whew...that was tough just revisiting that incident...
