just a tip to all the 4l80E guys, instead of buying the crap *** Lokar flex stick, MadMan sells them (not listed on the site) for a DIRECT FIT on a 4th gen F body i talked to Steve today about buying one and it was 71.99, i had their direct fit Th350 into a 4th gen F body in my camaro before i put the LS1 swap in it and it was a great piece and a hell of an improvement over the Lokar i had.

so if you want a steel tube direct custom fit dipstick for the 4l80e ina LS1/LT1 car call on MadMan (225) 673-3533 or (225) 673-4472 and ask for Steve. he was helpful to me.

I bought one from a 2001 Chevrolet 2500 truck for 40 off ebay,, it took a little bending but fits right in looks good. I didnt know madman sold one, and didnt want that stupid looking lokar that has to have that adapter to put oil in it.

yeah i had the one for the th350 so i emailed them and said it would be a good idea, and could probably sell a few over that lokar crap, then got a reply that they already had one but didnt sell many so they didnt list them... i think they would do good here.

the lokar sucks for filling with trans. fluid makes a five minute job into a thirty minute job!

I'm currently using a Lokar , But its a pain to use

got mine last week, painted it black and it looks like it came straight from GM but with a better cap thanks madman yet again!
