Shift kit?

Do shift kits help a4's very much. Would it lower my 1/4 times, or would it not be noticable? Also how much would 373's hurt my gas mileage in a basically stock car?

Shift kits are really good for the price and they make your car shift awsome as for 3.73 you may loss about 2mpg in the city.

What about highway, and would it be better to just go with 342's?

I run 3.73s and have no issues. Last i checked the car was still getting 20 MPG.

If you dont have a stall I think 3.73's are the best but if you run a stall I think that 3.42's are best for drag radials. As for highway mpg you will be above 20 still.

you wont gain much if any time w/ shift kit...i gained less than a tenth w/ addition of a shift kit and tranny cooler.
