Question My converter is staying locked in my 4l60...

I have a 98 4l60e with a carbed ls1. I have the TCI EZ tune controller. For some reason the converter locks up at about 1800 rpm in first gear and starts upshifting very rapidly and it remains locked even in downshifting. But at a stop at idle in unlocks. It didnt do this before. It happened while driving it. Then after awhile the converter locks normally like it should, then it stays locked again. I've reset the controller and disconnected the battery.Tried several different tunes and it didn't seem to work... I haven't wired up the manual switch for the coverter lock yet. And also there is a buzzing sound coming from inside the trans pan. Only when at temp though. And the buzzing goes away when I open the throttle... Weird...

You shouldn't need a manual switch, it should be wired through the break switch.
