I have a 1993 Trans Am with a built level 3 700R4 Transmission. I just recently went to the track and tested it out, and the transmission does great driving on the highway and shifts good, but the problem I,m having when I really run it hard, that it shifts hard from 1st to 2nd gear, but when it shift into 3rd gear the sound goes flat and it stops pulling hard like it did in 1st and 2nd. Can the transmission go from 1st to 2nd then right into 4th? Please help

Typically no but the converter could be locking in 3rd that would cause it to feel kinda dead.try running in D3 and see what happens if it still does it unplug the trans harness and try again.
