How much will I hate life with a rmvb turbo 400
I,m doing a new motor and supercharger this winter and should see about 8/900 rwhp. My 4l60 is already at the end of it,s life. I,ve already have a really nice turbo 400 just having 2nd thoughts. I only drive to shows and the dragstrip a few times a year.

Can't seen it being that bad if you only drive it a handfull of times a year....only thing that's gana suck is no down shifting unless your pretty much at a stop...and throwing it back into first every time you stop..

I figured I would hate it too, seeing as how I have always been a six speed guy, but honestly I like it. No more clutch or hydraulic woes and you still get the fun of shifting gears, just without a clutch.
I have a Jake's th400 and a pro-ratchet so I think its pretty fun to drive. I'm ready to see how much difference the new engine and power adder will make with the th400 though.
Previously, I had 4.10s and 28" drag radials on my car and it was okay. I think 60mph was somewhere around 3,200 ish. Now with all of the new stuff and the single front mount I think I am going to go around the 3.27 or 3.55 range, still using the 28" tires of course.
Good luck, hope this helps.

If you need to lift in 2nd gear, lift and then click the car into high gear as soon as possible and allow the car to decel in high gear. If you let the car run down in 2nd gear, the direct drum can overspeed to 2x engine rpm and a stock cast drum can burst.
