What 4l80e slip yoke do I need?
Trans is out of a 01 van. Orginally had a slip yoke since there no threaded hole in the output shaft. Output shaft has splines all the way up with a metal cylinder that the yoke must have gone into or something. Do I just get a standard th400 slip yoke?

Just to move this basic question to the top, I thought that stock 4L80E and TH400 took the same slip yoke. Or it it more complex? (I'm sure lots of members know this answer.)

Im not 100% certain so I didnt want to pipe up right away but if I am not mistaken any of the gm 32 spline yokes will work (except the bolt on ones obviously). Im pretty sure that even the 4x4 chev truck ones from the early 80's through some current models are the same unit that you need. That may or may not be useful information but I tried. Im pretty sure I am correct but like I said I'm not 100% positive.. I could run out and check a core for you if nobody else verifys wether or not I am correct..

The yoke is the same spline as the th400 but the exact yoke depends on the output shaft some are full thread some are half thread some have an oring or something halfway up.
