60e->80e swap using Speartech/seg swap. No MPH and stuck in 1st I posted this also on HPTuners.com
Hi all, so I recently swapped in my Jakes 4l80e and have a few issues with it. I had HPTuners do a segment swap for the 4l80e and also used the speartech ISS and main harness adapter and repinned the red connector 22/23 per the speartech instructions(ISS).
My problem is that while driving the car the trans will not shift and I read nothing on the speedo in both the cars dash and in HPTuners. I'll attach some files as well. If I go into scanner and command the shift the transmission will shift properly 1-2, 2-3, 3-OD. All my testing has been with the trans in OD. I looked in the file and saw that the 4l80e was set to Class 2. I tried setting it to No switch, had no change. I'll attach the tune file/calibration/logs.

My best guess is no input speed signal is why the car is not shifting nor showing MPH on speedo. Just can't figure out why it's not picking up the signal given the speartech cable is properly installed and the bin segment swap was done by HPT.

Gear shifts and speedo info come from the VSS, not the ISS.
Look at the other end of the trans and see what's going on with the VSS.
