If they cant afford paint how can the insides be good? I use to use Protorque out of Long Island for my converters. Ask for Joe..Great guy

Thanks i cant afford him. Anyone esle

Don't chinch when it comes to the torque converter. You get what you pay for ... and it's not like it's a quick and easy repair when it craps out either.

Always remember the sorrow of poor quality will outlast the cheer for a cheap price. Billet converters are not cheap to build and also that is why we put a 3 year warranty on our billet converters.

I know I'm not the first, but I can attest to Greg's words. I bought a crappy converter from eBay and have horrible vibration at above 70MPH. After replacing the driveshaft, working on the pinion angle and even pulling the trans to tighten the flex plate to crank bolts :( I've finally learned my vibration is clutch chatter in this crappy converter. I should have just ponied up from the beginning, because I'll never be able to sell this current converter for anything more than scrap :(

Ebay stalls? NOOOOO

Roadrunner in Phoenix I'm going to pick one up when I get back in town 325 offering 3 different stall speeds for the 10" 1 year warranty I don't always think you get what you pay but in a strict business aspect they will try to get you for every dollar that the market says they can and most mom and pops shops usually will price you fair and take pride in their product after all it is they're reputation on the line I was thinking circle d from Houston where I live now but im not a nut hugger like most on the forums I'm from AZ and just like anywhere else I'd be happy to say I have local built parts but if it's bad I'll know for a fact not a lot of people on here have experience with their local vert builders because they're deverted to "BIG NAME PRODUCT ONLY BULL" like they're getting paid to say it

Also they offer stock converters if your in need of that as well
may want to keep your stock as a back up just in case, whichever you decide

For $75 more you could buy a revmax. I've been beating on mime with no issues.

or PTC.

With all the converter companies out there with good converters for around $425 I don't see how this eBay converter is even a deal and definitely not worth the risk.
