4l60e/3200 circle D stall - pops into neutral at dead stop? Drove my car to work fine.. On the way home my Trans would go into neutral while sitting and pop back in when I have it has. Something is also grinding when I hit the brakes.. Did my forward Sprag go out?

We have had some threads where the problem turned out to be an intermittently bad (or slipping) forward sprag.
However, I would want to check line pressure and exactly document the behavior in different shifter positions before reaching expensive conclusions.
If the car does not move in [D3] or [OD] , but moves in [D1] or [D2] and you can manually shift to [D3] and then [OD] as the car speeds up, then the forward sprag is almost certainly the problem.
