Exclamation Need info ASAP - Can you ship an L60E via FedEx Ground in a Rubbermaid?

I am looking at a trans, that I might buy, but I need to have it shipped. I know you can ship a T56 via FedEx Ground, but can you ship a 4L60E, or is it too heavy?

I need this info ASAP guys!!!

Thanks!!!

I called Jake's Performance and they said it weighs under 150# DRY and that's with the tail and bell. They said they even have a video on youtube, of them weighing one, but can't find it; however, I did see this is on their site.... after I called, of course

http://www.jakesperformance.com/4L80E_FAQ.html

The 4L80E weighs 178 lbs in typical configuration. A 4L60E weighs approx. 135-140 lbs, a TH400 weighs 135 lbs, a TH350 weighs 125 lbs. All weights are without converter and dry with stock components.

My post #11 shows the weight of a 4L65E with bellhousing and tailshaft at 133 lbs, drained but not dry:

If not you can ship it Fed-Ex Freight no matter how much it weighs. Just be sure you have them label it as Dangerous Goods incase the container gets damaged and trans fluid spills so your not held responsible for any cleanup damages.
