3600 or 3800 yank ss converter?
Hey guys I know this has been covered countless of times but I could use the advice for my specific application.
I felt like it was a good choice to get a 3600ss stall to got with my .231 .239 617/623 custom ground cam
So I called to order the stall and they hit me with get a 3800 since my truck is a regular cab shortbed
I'm going to daily drive her just wondering if it's too loose have a friend who told me I'd burn it up after a while.
Thanks an advance!

Just to throw in a different opinion...
Since this is a truck and much heavier than a car, and a DD, I am a bit suspect of such a high stall speed. I had a SS3600 in my car and found it barely suitable for daily driving with a 3.42 rear. When I changed to a 3.73 rear, it was fine.
That cam will make good power by 3000 rpm.
If Yank recommended a 3600/3800 I wonder if you were emphasizing performance and not DD when you talked to them. Clearly a 3600/3800 will give you excellent performance.
