what would cause this? TH400 rear bushing destroyed. TH400 short tail shaft. car makes 600rwhp on spray. had this trans built 2 years ago. The car had crazy vibration, got under it and shook the driveshaft and there was all kinds of slop. popped the tail housing off and the bushing had spun out of the housing and the yolk was riding on the bare housing. Housing is trash, the bushing destroyed and my yolk is kinda chewed up now. Trans had 1,000 miles on it if that. maybe 20 track passes. What caused this?

TH400s are known to walk the rear bushing in heavy towing or high speed applications. However, that looks more like a driveshaft balance issue. I prefer to use roller tails and hardened yokes in my 400 builds.
