Default Old pre-97 4L80e cooling fittings

Is there any kind of special type of cooling fitting needed for an older 4l80e. I know the rear one for the newer 97+ has to have a long snout on it. Wondering if there is anything similar required for an older 80e? Also, I need to know where to get the red o ring that goes on the input shaft. I cannot find one online anywhere. Thanks

No special fittings for '91-'96 4L80E's, Just remember they are 1/4" NPSM threads in the Case, Not 1/4" NPT.

There are a ton of vendors that will have the O ring but may not have it listed, Just give them a call. You can also swing by any of your local Trans shops, they will more than likely have one in stock. If you cant get one, PM me and I will give you a number to call that can hook you up.

As stated above, the older style 80E will take the standard 1/4" trans fittings
