How many of you auto guys with street/strip cars removed E brakes?
Just trying to find out if its common to remove the E brakes. I understand its not the smartest thing to do with a manual transmission but with my auto cars I never use it. Are there any drawbacks or other issues with not having one? Before anyone tells me not to remove it its too late. Its been gone. Got tired of dealing with them plus I'm eventually going to put drag brakes on the rear like I've already done to the front. I'll also add that this car is mostly for the track with very little street time. Thanks.

I deleted mine a few months ago. Ive been driving 20 years and have never once needed it for an emergency situation, and here in the south we dont have salt on the roads so no uncarriage deterioration. At that point its merely a luxury item thats not needed. If you lost a brake line you should keep braking to at least two wheels and that in combination with engine braking should stop you in 99% of situations.

If you don't need them for state safety inspection....Have at it!
You guys with T56's...Don't park on a hill or steep driveway. Putting it in gear IS NOT a positive stop for your car! Unless your dong a unattended leak down test on your engine...LOL
