2wd truck 4l60e to ls1 camaro?
Hey guys, the other day my clutches went out between 3rd and 4th gear. Shifts into both gears, but when attempting to accelerate it acts like it is in neutral. Today I found a 2WD 4l60e out of a 99 pickup. I am aware that i will need to use my bellhousing, but if this trans has the correct 300mm input shaft will my converter and flexplate work to mount in in my F-Body? Any help on this will be much appreciated since this is my first automatic camaro.

+1.
If the bell housing from the truck is different, then it is not a 300mm input shaft trans.
Remember that 300mm input shaft trans have a bell housing with a bolt hole in the 12 O'Clock position.
If you want to be sure, post a picture of the front of the trans, especially the input shaft.

Hi I am swapping a 5.3 into my t/a. It's from a 2wd 04 Silverado and I got the 4l60e with it.... I want to use the 04 trans to have built to handle more power while still being able to drive my car, I know the 2wd 98-02 trans is almost direct swap besides manual shaft and tail housing but not sure about 03+ what will I need to make it work? My torque arm is already relocated so that is not a problem.... Thanks!

They changed the EPC solenoid in '03, but your PCM won't know the difference. It's the same resistance as the older Holley solenoids.
Just change the manual shaft, as was stated...
