Are there any non vette 4l60 cases that will bolt to a vette? Just about done rebuilding my C5 4l60e from a blown 3-4 clutchpack, was wondering if there are other non-vette 4l60s cases that would bolt to a C5?
I'm guessing the shafts will be different, but are there any from a non-vette that I could technically use if I took all my current internals out and swapped them in to a new case?
After fixing this one, I'd like to grab another shell to clean, blast, and paint.

I know I came across a document that deciphered the serial numbers on the trans, and thought I remembered the vette being the only car listed with whatever letter/number designated it a such.
However I didn't assume that limited the ability to frankenstien a case after removing the tail and bell housing from another vehicle. Ahwell!
