1999 Tahoe 4L60e w/ 2001 LM7 Hello,
I had a hard time finding a definite answer to this question, but I'm looking at a 4l60e on Craigslist from a 1999 2WD Tahoe.
I have a 2001 5.3L from a Suburban 1500 that I'm putting in a 1983 El Camino.
Will this transmission mount up to the engine? I believe the Tahoe didn't have a LS based motor until 2000 and was told that the bolt pattern, converter and input shaft might be different. I'm having a hard time finding an "affordable" 4l60e otherwise, so looking for every opportunity.
