4l80e swap complete speedo doesn't work....won't shift out of first gear
 

Just completed my 4l80e swap...I used the speartech 4l60e to 4l80e conversion harness and we pinned the speedo into the red plug pins 22 and 23...my speedo doesn't work and the car won't shift out of 1st gear we followed every step of the swap to a t....could this be tune related and fixed in the tune or does this happen when there is a wiring issue??

I ran into a similar problem check that you hooked the spear tech harness to the front speed sensor and your factory speed sensor plug to the rear of the trans once that's done with then you must have a 4l80e segment file put into your pcm so it will control the transmission
