Converter guru's

Which conveter do you guys think would work the best? I got a 6.0 with a tc78 single turbo running a tick stage 3 turbo cam through a 4l60e. My 2 choices are a FTI 36-3800 or a Precision Industries 4400.

A lot of that is going to depend on the setup of the converter(IE stator, pump etc.) I'm assuming you called and got recommendations from both of us....
Did you happen to get part numbers?

Both converters are ones I have from my other cars. The ft1 is a SRLs0086. The precision is a vigilante.

Need to know more about the Vigilante to say if its possibly a good idea or not... if its a 4400 stall in NA car then more than likely you're gonna blow right through it...

How old is the FTI piece? We can restall that converter for you to better fit your combo! and we'll restall it for free if its less than a year old.

Unless you have a top-of-the-line 4L60E with billet output/input shafts, etc, you might want to consider switching to a 4L80E before you invest in a quality converter.
