Default Who is going to be my best bet on specing a converter for my 4.8 Turbo/ Glide combo?

I have a 91 s10 that weighs 2800 with me in it, 28" rear tires, 4:10 rear gear, 218/223 .598/.571 112+3 cam in a 4.8 and a Innovative 7665 76mm turbo, We have a 1.76 Glide that will be going in. This truck is a street race truck with very limited track time so as usual traction is limited on the street so I want a converter that will be easy on the tires but still comes out pretty decent. This combo will be in the 600-700whp area depending on boost.

I mentioned the last part because I feel that maybe my needs are a little different then someone looking for a pure race converter.

Sound's like you're looking for a good balance between performance and drivability, so with that being said and keeping the turbo in mind we're going to need to go with something in the 3600-4000 range with our power adder/turbo stator. Quick question... are you planning to add more power in the future? If so it may be advantageous to go with a higher rated converter so we're not having to swap converters again, just restall.

Honestly id be kidding myself if I said I was happy with the power and stick with it. But it wont be crazy amounts I be adding. So ya think a 9.5" or 10" 3600 would be good then? Thats a bit more then I thought you were going to say but 3600 may not be bad.

we need the higher RPM stall to let the turbos light... I'd like to get some more information before we decide on a part number. Any chance i can get you to give us a call tomorrow to discuss options and the specs on your car?
