i have a 05 suburban that the trans wemt out in last week. i pulled the trans out of my projec car it has set a year or more. after getring it in and driving down the road it shifts for 1-2 great and tou can feel it shift to 3rd but like a second later it feels like it fell out of gear if you coast amd let the rpma come back down it will go back in. when you hit the throttle it mobes about 2 feet and falls back out any test i can run first before pulling it back out? or any test to determine if it is the 3-4 clutcj? thanks giys

Yes Unhook the wiring harness you will then be able to manual select 2 and 3 gears but not 1st or 4th you can use this to see if the 3-4 clutch pack is intact .
