I have a 6.0 4l60e and a 261 t/c swapped onto a jeep, I did not build it a buddy had it build and now I own it.
The issue is when you 1st take off it shifts hard to 2nd and than will not shift again until you turn it off. I crawled under and it seems to have all sensors plugged in. It pulls hard and I was told it was just rebuilt before it was installed. The trans is out of a 04 1500 and the t-case is out of a 97 and is manually operated. What should be my next step?

Have you checked for codes.
Either the shift linkage is stuck in 2nd gear or a code scan should give you the reason.

Yea I need to pull the codes I guess, after it shifts to 2nd pulling it down to 1st still won't shift it down
