Default Swapping 2012 4l60e Valve body with Older 96-07 Valve Body

I purchased a 4l60e this past December with sticker "2KPD" the seller said he acquired the transmission as a trade for some labor he did. To his knowledge, it was from a 2003 1500 Silverado. For the longest time I thought it was a 2002 4l60e but upon tuning and test drive the transmission wouldn't shift out of 2nd and would give code P1810 for the Pressure Manifold Switch. I dropped the pan and saw that there were no provisions for the PSM. After researching and posting a thread I discovered it was a 2012 4l60e which had an altered design. So after having help from "mrvedit" who also ran into this problem before, swapping valve bodies with older 4l60e will work. I'll update whenever parts come in and will need help as I've never dug into a transmission before.

Yes you can swap the VB and harness. you will also probably need to swap the linkage shaft or I would anway and get rid of the prndle switch on it to the earlier style. But should work fine after
